About the role

Provide behavior management support to students on an individual and group basis while monitoring behavioral achievement. Assist staff with operational functions including discipline, conflict resolution, and the implementation of behavioral improvement plans.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and experienced Behavior Technician for our LifeWorks School in Doylestown, PA for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year.
  • This position qualifies for a $6,000 joining bonus!
  • Must complete onboarding package within 7 days of job offer.
  • The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges.
  • LifeWorks comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes.

  • SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide behavior management support to all staff by working with students on both an individual and group basis as needed.
  • Monitor student behavioral achievement through observation and other quantitative methods.
  • Manage student behavior through level system, S.M.A.R.T.
  • Program and School wide Discipline Plan.
  • Monitor student’s behavior improvement plan (if applicable) or Positive Behavior Support Plan (if applicable) and address goals and objectives.
  • Completes tasks assigned by staff pertaining to school environment, behavioral interventions, and other operational functions in the school, i.e. discipline consequences, peer mediation, conflict resolution, restitution, phone calls to parents/ guardian, Functional behavioral assessments, discipline referral tabulation, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s level degree in Education, Criminal Justice, or other related degree in Human Services field of study preferred.
  • Experience with Special Education is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with adolescents with behavioral health challenges within a school setting is highly desirable.

Requirements
