Lead after-school enrichment programs for TK-5th grade students focusing on well-being, movement, and environmental education. Responsibilities include implementing provided curriculum and managing groups of up to 20 students in indoor and outdoor settings.
Paid training is provided for all programs. We will provide daily curriculum, plans, games and materials for each class.
Students are grouped by grade levels with class sizes maximum 20 students to two Yogativity staff.
Experience & Skills Experience working with youth in an educational, recreational, or after-school setting Strong communication and relationship-building skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable leading groups of students and managing classroom behavior Education Candidates must meet one of the following: Bachelor’s degree or working on one (Education or related field preferred) Two years of college or equivalent coursework credits. Ability to pass a company instructional assessment Additional Requirements CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to actively engage in both indoor and outdoor program settings. Responsibilities may include: Standing, walking, and moving throughout program spaces Lifting and carting materials (up to 50 lbs) Supervising students in active, sometimes high-energy environments Managing occasional interruptions and dynamic situations What your schedule will look like: Monday through Friday afternoons in person at school sites, 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, (2 hours) and daily prep time.
