The Home Visitor provides parenting education, developmental assessments, and case management services through home visits to underserved deaf and hard of hearing populations. They are responsible for strengthening parent-child relationships and connecting families with community resources.
Bachelor’s degree is Degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred Fluency in American Sign Language and knowledge of deaf culture are Experience working with or providing services to children and families; knowledge of infant/child development Demonstrated ability to perform Punctuality and reliability are a must. The Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness is a private non-profit organization that was founded in 1969 and now has 13 locations serving 10 counties in Southern California.
