The Home Visitor provides educational, social, and health services to pregnant mothers and children from birth to three years through weekly home visits. Responsibilities include case management, developing individual development plans, and facilitating parent-child interaction groups.
The Home Educator/Visitor provides Early Head Start child development educational services, social services, health services, and parent involvement services to children age birth through three years and pregnant mothers. The Educator/Visitor will provide up to 90 minutes home visits to birth to 3 years of age clients weekly and up to 90 minutes visits to pregnant mothers and families with the frequency and duration determine by the pregnant mother and family. Flexible and varied work schedule, including evenings and weekends required to accommodate family and program needs.

$41,100.00 per year
This is a CWA Local 1040 position.
1. Must have a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree AND 2. Demonstrate competency to plan and implement home-based learning experiences that ensure effective implementation of the home visiting curriculum and promote children’s progress across the standards described in the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework: Ages Birth to Five, including for children with disabilities and dual language learners, as appropriate, and to build respectful, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with families.
