$60,000–$75,000 annually About the Opportunity AnthroMed Education is partnering with a collaborative special education program and neighboring elementary schools in the western suburbs of Chicago to welcome a full-time Physical Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to support students across both specialized and general education settings while working alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to student success. You'll provide therapy services that help students improve mobility, access their learning environments, and participate more fully in their educational programs. This role also includes providing services to one homebound student, making a meaningful impact through individualized care. What You'll Do Provide school-based physical therapy services for students with a variety of physical and developmental needs Complete evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and state requirements Travel between assigned school locations and provide services for one homebound student Caseload Details Serve students ranging from kindergarten through age 22 Split time between a specialized therapeutic program and two elementary school campuses Support students with autism, multiple disabilities, cognitive disabilities, and students in general education settings Provide therapy services for one homebound student Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team focused on helping students reach their goals
