About the Role
- Hello, School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker for a K–12 school setting in Windsor, CO. In this role, you’ll support students’ social-emotional well-being, family engagement, and access to learning by providing counseling, crisis support, and collaboration with school teams. This is an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced clinicians who are looking to build meaningful relationships with students, work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, and make a lasting impact on student success while receiving ongoing support from a therapist-owned company. - + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You’ll Do Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Connect families to community resources and supports What We’re Looking For Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date) Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills School-based experience preferred, not required Passion for supporting students’ mental health and well-being About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women-, minority-, and therapist-owned company built by providers who understand school-based work.
