Our general studies lead teachers are responsible for teaching reading, writing, and mathematics. Lead teachers work closely with their assistant teacher, as well as collaborate with the Student Services (special education) Department, school social worker, and outside support to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of all their students. The ideal candidate is a warm and nurturing educator with a creative, progressive, student-centered, and academically engaging teaching style and experience teaching in elementary school classrooms.
