About the role

The position provides targeted academic support in reading, language arts, and mathematics through push-in and pull-out instructional models. It involves analyzing student data to create individualized learning pathways and collaborating with school leadership and parents to track progress.

General Description

The position is responsible for specific tasks as well as general support of the Academic Team. Serves as a part-time or

full-time Instructional Specialist, delivering supplemental educational services to students in the areas of reading,

language arts, mathematics, or other authorized instructional areas as defined by Title I regulations and FACTS

Education Solutions. This role is designed to provide targeted academic support to students, enhancing their overall

academic performance during the regular school day and/or after-school programs.

Instructional Support: ○ Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that fosters academic

success in reading, language arts, mathematics, and other designated subjects.

○ Provide supplemental instruction through both push-in and pull-out models during school hours and,

when applicable, after-school programs.

○ Utilize digital tools, such as iPads, tablets, and laptops, to enhance instructional delivery through

online lessons and interactive activities.

Develop and Monitor

○ Implement and manage supplemental educational programs in alignment with Title I regulations,

FACTS Education Solutions' policies, and contractual guidelines.

○ Oversee the management and inventory of Title I instructional resources, ensuring that materials are

effectively utilized and maintained.

Data and Reporting

○ Analyze student assessment data to develop individualized learning pathways and targeted activities

that support and reinforce classroom instruction.

○ Adhere to deadlines and submit all required compliance and reporting documentation to FACTS

Education Solutions in accordance with communicated timelines.

Collaboration: ○ Compile and communicate student progress through pre- and post-assessment data, progress

reports, and other required compliance documentation to school leadership, parents, and classroom

teachers.

○ Establish and foster strong relationships with parents, creating a robust parent involvement program

that encourages student engagement and academic achievement.

○ Collaborate with classroom teachers and school administration to build a strong professional

community and ensure the integration of support services across the school.

Requirements

The candidate must be able to implement supplemental educational programs in alignment with Title I regulations and FACTS Education Solutions policies. Proficiency in using digital tools like tablets and laptops for instructional delivery is required.
