The Teacher's Assistant supports daily classroom schedules, conducts developmental screenings, and maintains a safe, inclusive learning environment. They are responsible for communicating with families and ensuring compliance with ODJFS Child Care Licensing Rules.
What You Will Do Follows daily schedule Helps complete assessments and developmental screenings as assigned Maintains a caring, inclusive, classroom experience Maintains a safe environment by practicing active supervision Maintains a healthy learning environment by sanitizing materials Creates and keeps current an account on the Ohio Professional Registry including 10 hours of Ohio Approved training annually Communicates with families daily regarding their child’s activities and wellbeing Monitors children for illness and medical needs to prevent and respond to medical emergencies Remain compliant ODJFS Child Care Licensing Rules at all times Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.
