This position is based in the following office location: Manchester, NH The opportunity Southern New Hampshire University's traditional campus is looking for a part-time Assistant Coach for our women's lacrosse team.
This position is located onsite in Manchester, NH.
You will report to the Head Coach of our Women's Lacrosse team.
What you'll do: Participate in the leading and implementing the preseason and season practices.
Help monitor conditioning programs Provide input as to the evaluation of the athlete's performance and progress.
Evaluate opponents' performance and scouting.
Ensure the best performance of athletes during games Recruit prospective student athletes Participate in planning for events including fund raising or other special functions Transport University Vans to and from practice, games, playoffs, and coaches meetings Additional responsibilities can be assigned with discussion between the Head Coach, Director of Athletics and the Assistant Coach Manage our social media accounts Attendance is required at the annual athletic awards banquet, any NE-10 conference meetings, any all-star balloting or voting meetings, and all SNHU Athletic Department meetings Other responsibilities as assigned The position, governed by the rules and regulations of the NCAA and of the Southern New Hampshire University, requires working with the Head Coach in all facets of the program.
You must develop a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
You must pass the NCAA Certification exam.
Per NCAA rule, a coach who is found in violation of NCAA regulations shall be subject to disciplinary or corrective action as set forth in the provisions of the NCAA enforcement procedures, including suspension without pay or termination of employment for significant or repetitive violations.
The Assistant Coach may drive the team van to and from contests and pre-season practice or tournaments so a Valid Driver's License is required and the ability to pass a MVR check.

Compensation The hourly pay range for this position is $14.43 - $23.10.
Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $15.95 - $21.58.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of playing or coaching experience in lacrosse. A valid driver's license and the ability to pass the NCAA Certification exam are required.
