Job Summary Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Virtual Tutor with our partner organization Learn to Be.
Learn To Be offers a flexible, fully remote opportunity for college students with Federal Work Study to serve as virtual tutors.
In this role, you'll work 1-on-1 with the same student(s) each week, building meaningful connections and helping them grow academically over time.
You’ll set your own schedule, choose the grade levels and subjects you're most comfortable tutoring, and even select the students you’d like to work with.
Whether you prefer working with younger students or focusing on specific subjects, you’ll have the freedom to create a tutoring experience that fits you.
No prior tutoring or teaching experience is required, and students from all majors are welcome to apply!
Tutors must be comfortable conducting sessions over Zoom.
For safety and quality assurance, all sessions are recorded and reviewed as needed.
Job Responsibilities Maintain a responsive line of communication with your student and their parent/guardian Host tutoring sessions at least once a week for 60 minutes with each student Support your student/s through homework help, test prep, study skills, etc.
