Provide classroom instruction and/or student supervision for students in Grades K–8 and Extended Day programs as assigned. Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment. Supervise students during class, recess, lunch, field trips, Extended Day, and other school activities as assigned. Leave detailed notes for the classroom teacher regarding lessons completed, student progress, attendance, behavioral concerns, and other relevant updates from the school day. Follow school policies and procedures and communicate any concerns to administrators as needed. Demonstrate flexibility in supporting various grade levels, subject areas, and programs. Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required. Previous classroom teaching, substitute teaching, student teaching, or other school-based experience preferred. Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged students preferred.
