What You'll Do As a Classroom Specialist, you'll support classrooms throughout the center, helping create positive learning experiences while ensuring children receive exceptional care and attention every day. Your responsibilities include: Provide classroom support wherever needed throughout the center Assist with teacher breaks, classroom transitions, and daily scheduling needs Support diapering, toileting, meals, naps, and other daily routines Engage children through storytelling, music, movement, crafts, educational games, and hands-on activities Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and confidence Assist teachers with lesson plans and classroom activities Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor play, meals, naps, and transitions Maintain clean, organized, and safe classroom environments Collaborate with teachers and center leadership to ensure smooth daily operations Communicate professionally with coworkers and families when appropriate
What We're Looking For At least 16 years old Passion for working with children of all ages Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required Comfortable adapting to different classrooms and age groups Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable, patient, organized, and flexible CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire) Ability to complete all required Montana licensing, training, and background check requirements
