About the role

The teaching assistant will support school-wide systems and routines such as arrival, meal times, and recess while collaborating with lead teachers. They may also act as a substitute teacher throughout the building as needed to support student learning.

We have been nationally recognized for our work with English Language Learners.

This position is intended to start in August 2026 and is budgeted for just the 2026-2027 school year.

Successful teaching assistants will be considered for other roles for which they are qualified.

The Teaching Assistant - Temporary Role Our Teaching Assistant role is a perfect opportunity to give talented individuals practice and experience teaching and working with kids.

They will support with schoolwide systems and routines like arrival, meal times, recess, and dismissal.

They will work in collaboration with and under the guidance of experienced Lead Teachers.

Teaching Assistants may also act as substitutes throughout the building as needed.

The content and age range of students they work with will depend on the needs of the school.

Who We’re Looking For We seek outstanding people with the following qualifications: Must be 18 or older Prior experience working with children in a professional capacity, or as a regular volunteer is required A passion for working with kids and a belief that all kids can succeed Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply and will be compensated higher.

Compensation

Requirements
