Responsibilities: Include:
Teach and evaluate graduate nursing students across classroom, simulation, online, and clinical learning environments.
Teach courses within the Family/Individual Across the Lifespan Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialty area and in graduate APRN core, support, and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) courses, as assigned.
Collaborate with faculty colleagues and program leadership in course planning, curriculum implementation, and the ongoing development and evaluation of the graduate nursing curriculum.
Advise and mentor graduate nursing students, supporting academic progression and professional development.
Participate in program evaluation and continuous quality improvement, including assessment of student learning outcomes and program effectiveness. Collaborate with program leadership and clinical partners to support high-quality clinical learning experiences, including identification and evaluation of clinical sites and preceptors.
Contribute to program compliance with accreditation, certification, and regulatory requirements, including participation in program review and reporting activities.
Serve on College and University committees and participate in governance and institutional activities.
Maintain clinical competence and professional engagement within area of specialty practice.
Engage in scholarly and professional activities consistent with faculty role expectations.
Support recruitment and outreach activities of the College.
Perform responsibilities in alignment with the mission, core values, and academic standards of the College of Nursing and Thomas Jefferson University.

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with Family/Individual Across the Lifespan Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required. Master’s degree in nursing or related discipline from an accredited college or university required. Earned doctoral degree in nursing or related discipline preferred; candidates without a doctoral degree must be enrolled in a doctoral program. Eligible for or currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Demonstrated teaching experience in an accredited academic nursing program required, preferably in graduate nursing education. Knowledge of teaching and learning strategies, curriculum development, and student evaluation in nursing education. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty colleagues, students, and clinical partners. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Appointment and Application: This is a 12-month salaried position with a generous benefit and retirement program. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience.
