Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children.
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum using The Goddard School's Wonder of Learning™ framework.
Support children's physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
Provide positive guidance while fostering each child's confidence, independence, and self-esteem.
Build strong, respectful relationships with families through regular communication and collaboration.
Lead an engaging, responsive classroom that encourages exploration and discovery.
Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to maintain a positive, professional work environment.
Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and school policies.
Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting is preferred. A minimum of 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education with a plan of study leading toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and collaboration skills. A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
