Responsibilities Working within the secondary-school team and reporting to the Upper School Director, the mathematics teacher will: Teach mathematics in accordance with the current French national curricula, from Grade 6 (6ème) through Terminale (Cycle 4, the Seconde common core, and the mathématiques complémentaires and mathématiques expertes options), depending on how teaching duties are assigned; Prepare students for national examinations: the DNB mathematics test, the early mathematics assessment (épreuve anticipée) in Première, the Baccalaureate spécialité exams, and support preparation for the Grand oral as needed; Implement continuous assessment (contrôle continu) in accordance with the school's assessment framework; Design, prepare, and lead lessons suited to students with varied profiles in a multilingual environment; Contribute to student monitoring and assessment, in regular contact with families; Participate in class councils (conseils de classe), subject-area meetings (conseils d'enseignement), pedagogical meetings, and educational activities (may serve as lead teacher / professeur principal); Contribute to the school's educational projects and to the vertical coherence of mathematics learning across the entire track; Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure the coherence and progression of student learning.
