What You’ll Do Performance Academies is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the communication, academic, and social success of students with speech and language needs. As a valued member of our student services team, you will provide high-quality therapy, collaborate with educators and families, and ensure compliance with special education requirements while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children. Provide speech-language therapy services to students with IEPs using evidence-based practices. Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments to identify student needs. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, progress reports, and other required special education documentation. Coordinate speech and language referrals and participate in IAT, ETR, and IEP meetings. Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, administrators, and families to support student success. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational special education requirements. Foster positive relationships with students and families through ongoing communication and advocacy.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist License. Valid Ohio Professional Pupil Services License. Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Knowledge of Ohio special education laws, IDEA, and best practices in school-based speech-language services. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to analyze student data and use it to guide instruction and intervention. Successful completion of required state and federal background checks.

Requirements
