Position Details

Behavior Intervention Specialist roles for the 2026-2027 school year Support 3-4 school sites within the district In-person, full-time roles (37.5 paid hours per week) and part-time roles (18 paid hours per week) BCBA OR Tier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching license required Must pass a background check and drug screening

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Behavior Intervention Specialists for the 2026-2027 school year in the Anoka, MN area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.

  • + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses Mentorship and ongoing support from school-based professionals What You'll Do Consult and implement positive behavior interventions and supports for the students Conduct functional behavior assessments Consult, communicate, and work cooperatively with teams to provide appropriate programming for students Implement positive behavior interventions and supports to support student progress, reinforcing positive behaviors, utilizing de-escalation techniques, and redirecting inappropriate behaviors May be required to use restrictive procedures What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Related Field Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4) OR Active BCBA license in Minnesota Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work. Requirements
