The Head Coach is responsible for leading badminton or volleyball drills and games while supervising children to ensure a safe environment. They also manage a team of assistant coaches and handle the setup and takedown of sports equipment.

All of our programs take place onsite at one of Castro Valley Unified School District’s elementary or middle schools.
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Head Coaches for our Leagues Youth Badminton and Volleyball Program. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with kids, love sports, and want to build leadership and teamwork skills. This role will be part-time.
Leading badminton or volleyball drills, games, and activities. Help supervise children to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Lead team of Assistant Coaches and provide direction. Set up and take down nets, equipment, and supplies before and after sessions. Model good sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Communicate effectively with the Program Coordinator and participants.
Saturdays only, starting September 12th through November 7th, 2026 No camp on Saturday, October 10th, 2026 Program hours will be 4 - 5 hours in Castro Valley Assistants must be available for the full 8-week program

This is a regular, variable-hour position. All candidates must be able to submit to a TB test and LiveScan fingerprinting.
