We strive to bring enrichment programs that both introduce and deepen subject matters of interest. Our intention is to foster team and individual growth while developing social interactions. All of our programs take place onsite at one of Castro Valley Unified School District’s elementary or middle schools.
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Assistant Coaches for our Leagues Youth Badminton and Volleyball Program. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with kids, love sports, and want to build leadership and teamwork skills. This role will be part-time.
Assist the Head Coach in leading badminton or volleyball drills, games, and activities. Help supervise children to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Set up and take down nets, equipment, and supplies before and after sessions. Model good sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Communicate effectively with the Head Coach and participants.
Saturdays only, starting September 12th through November 7th, 2026 No camp on Saturday, October 10th, 2026 Program hours will be 3 - 4.5 hours in Castro Valley Assistants must be available for the full 8-week program
Responsible, reliable, and punctual Able to follow directions and work as part of a team Have patience, compassion, and kindness.
Preferred: Interest in badminton, volleyball, coaching, or working with kids
This is a regular, variable-hour position. All candidates must be able to submit to a TB test and LiveScan fingerprinting (or work permit if applicable).
