About the role

The Behavior Technician will provide one-on-one support to children with Autism by implementing individualized procedures to reduce challenging behaviors and improve daily living skills. They are also responsible for collecting session data using a tablet and writing objective daily progress notes.

Starting Pay

Support the acceptance of neurodiversity, provide compassionate, assent-based care, and truly prioritize the wants and needs of your clients. Use a tablet to collect session data and write clear, objective daily progress notes.

  • Mindset: You are driven to create positive change, passionate about helping children, and display a high level of dedication to patient success. Prior experience in a childcare facility, daycare, preschool, nannying, caregiving, or healthcare support role is great to have (but not required!).

Education

High school diploma, Associate degree, or higher (Perfect for local childcare professionals or recent grads looking for a clinical career jump). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from the clinic daily.

Physical

Stamina: Ready to stay active! You must be able to sit, stand, transition quickly, bend, kneel, crouch, and move or run quickly when necessary to engage at a child's level and maintain strict safety protocols.
