Have fun while you work and bring joy into the lives of the Day Program participants! The Day Program Aide / Caregiver is responsible for assisting adults who have disabilities with activities in the Adult Training Facility such as vocation training, basic work skills, basic hygiene, basic money management, community participation, crafts and activities and other life skills.
The Program Assistant (Caregiver) observes and reports on the accomplishments of participants, while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Staff also transport participants in the Agency vehicle out into the community for learning, engagement and fun activities.
00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. No Evenings, No Weekends, No Holidays!
One year experience working with individuals with disabilities in the human services field - such as direct care aide, home health aide, personal care assistant, direct support professional, medical assistant, etc.
Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE)
Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP)
Associates or bachelor’s degree in education, special education, sociology, social work, rehabilitation, counseling, therapy, transition programming, or any other major
