The Homework Club Monitor supervises students during Bank Street’s after school Homework Club, providing a structured, quiet, and supportive environment where students can complete homework, read independently, and develop positive study habits. Working under the supervision of the Auxiliary Programs team, the Monitor fosters independence, responsibility, and respectful behavior among middle school students between the ages of 10 and 14. This role is well suited to a responsible, organized, and caring educator who enjoys supporting students’ academic growth outside the classroom.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and experience working with school-age children in an educational or camp setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a supportive, inclusive environment are essential for this role.
