Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing Assess students’ communication, language, academic, and accessibility needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs Adapt curriculum and classroom materials to support student access Consult with general education teachers and school teams regarding accommodations Support the use of hearing technology, assistive devices, and communication systems Collaborate with families, interpreters, audiologists, and related service providers Maintain accurate progress notes, service records, and educational documentation Travel between assigned school sites as needed
