The Learning Experience – Owings Mills is seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to guide one of our infant classrooms. This role focuses on providing responsive care and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for babies during their earliest stages of growth.
Our infant program provides a calm, structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore.
Key Responsibilities: Lead an infant classroom in a safe, nurturing, and organized environment
Support infants’ developmental milestones through sensory play, language exposure, and guided interaction
Maintain individualized routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and transitions
Supervise and support assistant teachers to maintain classroom consistency and ratios
Communicate daily with families regarding routines, milestones, and classroom updates
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment
Ensure full compliance with Maryland childcare licensing and safety standards
Qualifications: Maryland Infant/Toddler Teacher qualification required (45-hour certification)
High school diploma or higher required
Experience working in an infant classroom preferred
Understanding of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Must meet Maryland childcare licensing and background requirements
