The Learning Experience – Owings Mills is hiring an Early Childhood Education Teacherto guide our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an early childhood educator who enjoys supporting toddlers as they develop independence, communication skills, and early social confidence in a structured, play-based setting.
Our toddler program emphasizes consistent routines, positive guidance, and hands-on learning experiences that support developmental milestones.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a 2-year-old classroom in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
Deliver daily lessons aligned with The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Support early language development, movement, creativity, and exploration
Guide daily routines including meals, diapering or toileting, transitions, and rest time
Encourage peer interaction, self-help skills, and emotional development
Communicate consistently with families regarding daily activities and progress
Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to maintain Maryland licensing and quality standards
Qualifications: Must meet Maryland Infant and Toddler and Preschool Teacher licensing requirements
Minimum 6 months experience in an early childhood classroom (1 year preferred)
High school diploma required; CDA or early childhood coursework strongly preferred
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
