School-Based Program Site - Imagine Foundations Leeland - Upper Marlboro, MD
Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 6:30AM-8:30AM and 2:30PM-6:30PM
We are currently looking for candidates who are available to work all five days for one or both shifts in their entirety. We cannot accommodate partial shifts
Pay: $17-22/hour, Based on experience and region
Position Overview Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? As a Resilience Coach, you will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive. This is an active, hands-on role that combines mentorship, enrichment, recreation, and academic support. We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred. State Requirements: Candidates must be 19 years old and older and have the following: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 400 hours of experience working with school-aged children OR 1 year of college coursework Completion of 90 clock hours of approved school aged coursework (45 hours of Growth and Development, 45 hours of School Aged Curriculum) Completion of 9 hours of communication training Completion of 3 hour ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) training Must pass required background check and health clearance per Maryland child care licensing standards Physical Requirements Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
