Lead engaging youth sports instructional sessions Teach fundamental sport skills, rules, and techniques to youth participants of varying skill levels Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all young athletes Monitor and encourage player development, sportsmanship, and teamwork Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress and program updates Set up and break down equipment before and after each session Enforce safety guidelines and ensure the well-being of all participants at all times
Experience working with children or youth in a coaching, teaching, or mentoring capacity Strong knowledge of sports fundamentals and youth athletic development Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain a patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging demeanor with young athletes Reliable, punctual, and committed to program schedules, must have a reliable vehicle Must be available weekdays between 2:00-8:00pm for afterschool and evening classes Must pass a background check prior to employment About Us: TGA of the Twin Cities is a community-driven youth sports organization dedicated to growing the next generation of athletes right here in the Twin Cities area.
