TGA of the Twin Cities is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Youth Golf Instructor to inspire the next generation of golfers in the southeast Metro! This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your love of golf with the rewarding experience of mentoring and teaching young players in a fun, supportive environment.
Instruct youth golfers in fundamental skills including grip, stance, swing mechanics, and course etiquette Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate golf lessons and curriculum for beginner to intermediate junior players Supervise and manage groups of youth participants in a safe and positive learning environment Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game Communicate progress and feedback to parents and program coordinators Set up and break down equipment and instructional materials before and after sessions Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth participants
Experience playing golf with a solid understanding of the game's fundamentals Prior experience working with children or youth in a teaching, coaching, or mentoring capacity Strong communication and classroom management skills Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for youth development Must be available weekdays between 2:00-8:00pm for afterschool and evening classes CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Reliable transportation to program locations in the Farmington, Cottage Grove and Lakeville, MN area About Us: TGA of the Twin Cities is a premier youth golf and tennis enrichment program dedicated to growing the game from the ground up in communities across the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
