About the role

The Instructional Aide provides instructional assistance and support to students and professional staff while supervising students during school functions. They also assist with data collection, maintain confidential records, and support the implementation of student education plans.

The IA position will work on all student days during the school calendar year. The IA hourly rate is $21.00/hour Schedule: 7:30-2:30 Vacant Positions located at: Great Valley High School - Spanish speaking strongly preferred GV 5/6 Center - Spanish speaking strongly preferred The Instructional Aide (IA) Duties Include: Provide instructional assistance and support to students and professional staff. Assist students in organizational skills as directed by teacher. Guide students in activities which are designed and assigned by the teacher. Supervise and assist students with all forms of technology. Reinforce student education plans when necessary (504, IEP, GIEP, etc.) Report and/or collect data for educational or behavioral reasons. Provide clerical support as needed. Supervise students as needed during all school functions. Process and maintain confidential student records and information. Assist with student testing and supervision of testing environments. Schedule or organize meets as directed by teacher or supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned by classroom teacher or supervisor . EDUCATION / EXPRIENCE: ESL Instructional Aide (IA) - High School Diploma or equivalency Spanish speaking strongly preferred Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred CREDENTIALING : (Clearances current within 12 months)

PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN TB Screening - current within 3 months Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts Paid credential renewals 3 days of paid time off (prorated based on start date) Employees scheduled for 30+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits Employer paid base medical plan! Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have experience working with school-aged children. Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred, and all required state clearances and TB screenings must be obtained.
