REQUIRED · Minimum of 1-year experience with preschool age children or young children with special needs preferred. · Experience working with families and supervising staff required. · Must obtain agency provided CPR/First Aid/BBP certifications within 60 days of hire. · Must obtain agency provided Safety Care certification within 30 days of hire. · Must obtain agency provided BHP certification within 12 months of hire. · Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS · Must be able to squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift at least 50 pounds or ¼ of own bodyweight, and push and pull against potential resistance. · Adequate vision, reading, writing and documentation skills, and hearing to perform the essential functions of the position. · Ability to maintain assigned work hours, having sufficient endurance to perform tasks over extended periods.
