Located in the heart of Virginia’s beautiful Shenandoah Valley, the city of Harrisonburg is approximately 120 miles from Washington, D.C. and Richmond, VA. Information Technology is seeking an organized, detailed, and reliable Intern for the Policy and Compliance Team. This internship is a paid student position that requires an average of 15 hours each week. This position is for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Working hours will be scheduled according to the student’s availability within JMU’s normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
Students must have a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA.
