In Massachusetts, school nurse openings are often competitive because districts look for RNs who can manage student health needs, compliance, and day-to-day care in a school setting. This role typically stands out when candidates already hold a Massachusetts RN license, a BSN or MSN, and relevant nursing experience; CPR certification can also strengthen an application.
