We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Educator to join our team. The Special Educator will work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. As a Special Educator at Strides Therapy & Educational Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational journey of students with diverse learning needs. Collaborate closely with a team of fellow Special Educators.
Individualized
Instruction: Develop and implement differentiated instructional plans that address each student's unique academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional needs in accordance with their IEP goals.
Collaborative
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other Special Educators (Exceptional Student Educators) and educational professionals to ensure a cohesive support system for students.
Progress
Monitoring: Regularly assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to promote growth and achievement.
Maintain open and effective communication with students, families, and school staff to facilitate student success and address any concerns or challenges.
Professional
Development: Stay current with best practices and research in special education to enhance your skills and knowledge continuously.
Eligible for or able to obtain South Carolina Department of Education Special Education Certification.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid and current certification as a Special Educator in South Carolina. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Dedication to ongoing professional growth and development in the field of special education.
