About the role

The tutor will provide individualized Spanish instruction to students by assessing their proficiency and adapting lessons to their specific learning needs. They are responsible for creating engaging content that improves speaking, listening, reading, writing, and overall communication skills.

Thrive is seeking an engaging and experienced Spanish tutor to provide individualized instruction to students.

The ideal candidate will have strong Spanish-language proficiency and experience supporting students with speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and academic coursework.

The tutor should be able to assess each student’s current proficiency, adapt instruction to individual learning needs, and create engaging lessons that build both confidence and practical communication skills.

This is a part-time tutoring opportunity.

Scheduling, location, and frequency will be determined based on student needs and tutor availability.

Teaching or tutoring experience required Strong written and spoken Spanish proficiency Ability to differentiate instruction for varying ages and proficiency levels Dependable, professional, and skilled at building positive relationships with students and families Teaching certification or advanced Spanish-language credentials preferred Compensation $50-$80 per hour
