SRI is looking for compassionate health care providers who can provide in-home assistance on an on-going basis for a special needs family member who has a disability, developmental needs or a chronic illness. You will be providing a valuable service for military families in the special needs family member’s home in the areas of health, safety, behavioral, nutritional and recreational needs.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study such as early childhood education, special education, and elementary education(or equivalent combination of education, training and experience)
Designation as RN or related certifications is desirable
A combination of technical knowledge/experience working with chronic conditions that require extensive family involvement in care giving
Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working with special needs children, youth or adults.
