About the role

The counselor provides individual and group support to students in a public-school setting using evidence-based curricula. They work to build resiliency in youth facing multiple risk factors to promote healthy and productive lives.

CDAC is seeking master's level clinicians to deliver counseling services to students in a public-school setting to build resiliency in youth facing multiple risk factors, so they may lead healthy, productive, drug and violence free lives. The counselor works to provide individual and/or group support to students using evidence-based curricula and counseling theories and techniques.

Several job openings at various schools throughout Santa Rosa County from K-12th grade.

The positions require a Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work with individual and group support services/counseling experience, preferably within a school-based setting. This is a permanent full-time position with a 10-month schedule (191-days), which follows the school calendar. School holidays and breaks are observed, including summer break. The salary is $36,000 annually, based on the 10-month schedule.

This permanent 10-month position includes a competitive, comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as participation in a 401(k)-retirement plan.

Position requires a Level II Background, School District Background, and valid driver's license.

CDAC maintains a drug-free workplace in accordance with federal regulations and safety standards. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work with relevant experience in a school-based setting. The position requires passing a Level II background check and a school district background check.
