The Job Coach supports residential students in community-based work internships by implementing IEP-based tasks and supervising students at job sites. They act as a liaison between employers and school staff while maintaining accurate performance data and ensuring student safety.
League School for Autism is an award-winning, year-round program dedicated to the education of children on the autism spectrum. Our team approach to education creates a collaborative, supportive and open environment within our community. We are currently seeking a JOB COACH to work 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 9:00am—5:00pm at our program in Walpole. Pay range starts at $22.50 - $26.40/hour.
This position is designed to support residential students participating in after-school community work internships. As a newly developed role, the successful candidate will play an active part in shaping and refining the position while helping to establish best practices for supporting students in community-based employment. The Job Coach must be comfortable working independently with limited on-site supervision, demonstrate strong judgment and problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively with internship supervisors, residential staff, families, and school staff to ensure a coordinated and successful vocational experience for each student.
