About the Rosetta Stone Program Rosetta Stone is a globally recognized language-learning platform that helps students develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through an immersive learning experience.

Using a structured immersion methodology, students learn Spanish naturally through authentic images, audio from native speakers, and interactive practice rather than direct translation.

The program develops vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, conversation, reading, and writing skills while encouraging students to build language proficiency through meaningful, real-world communication.

Position Summary

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a motivated and organized Rosetta Stone Spanish Facilitator to support Spanish language instruction for students in Grades 1–6. Working within the Rosetta Stone program, the facilitator will oversee student learning, monitor academic progress, provide instructional support, and maintain a structured, engaging classroom environment that promotes language acquisition and student success. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about language learning, comfortable using educational technology, and committed to helping students build confidence and proficiency in Spanish. Key Responsibilities Facilitate student learning using the Rosetta Stone Spanish curriculum and instructional platform. Monitor student progress and provide individualized support to ensure successful language acquisition. Create and maintain a structured, organized classroom environment that promotes engagement and active participation. Reinforce school-wide behavioral expectations and maintain a positive classroom culture. Assist students with navigating the Rosetta Stone platform and provide basic technical support when needed. Troubleshoot minor issues involving classroom technology, software, and instructional equipment. Maintain accurate records of student progress, lesson completion, and classroom performance. Collaborate with grade-level teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student achievement. Attend faculty meetings, grade-level meetings, Teacher Assistance Team (TAT) meetings, professional development sessions, and other required school meetings. Participate in parent-teacher conferences, Back-to-School Night, Open Houses, and other school events. Support students with accommodations as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans when applicable. Fulfill assigned supervisory responsibilities, including morning arrival, lunch/recess, and afternoon dismissal duties. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead Teacher or school administration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively support student learning through educational technology. Comfortable troubleshooting basic computer hardware and software issues. Ability to analyze student performance data and provide appropriate instructional support. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Commitment to maintaining a structured, student-centered learning environment. Successful completion of applicable Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) within one year of employment, if required. U.S. work authorization required.
