Key Responsibilities Develop and implement lessons that promote historical inquiry, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of historical events, cultures, and civilizations.
Design and administer formative and summative assessments to measure student progress and guide instructional planning.
Analyze student performance data to differentiate instruction and maximize student achievement.
Collaborate with grade-level teams and school leadership to ensure curriculum alignment and instructional consistency.

Bachelor's degree required; degree in History, Social Studies, Education, or a related field preferred. Massachusetts teaching license or eligibility for licensure preferred. Strong knowledge of history and social studies content. Excellent presentation, communication, and classroom management skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze student data and adjust instruction to improve outcomes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to build positive, professional relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Commitment to collaboration, continuous professional growth, and academic excellence.
