The Athletic Trainer is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for student-athletes. Provide athletic training coverage for assigned team practices, games, and events Evaluate athletic injuries and implement appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plans Administer first aid and emergency care during athletic activities Apply preventative taping, wrapping, bracing, and other injury prevention techniques Maintain accurate medical records, injury reports, and treatment documentation in compliance with HIPPA and FERPA guidelines.
