We are seeking a dependable, organized, and technology-savvy Part-Time Teaching Assistant to support the instructor in a virtual Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential course. Prior knowledge of the CDA Credential is not required. Training will be provided for the responsibilities of the position.
Monitor the virtual classroom during live Zoom sessions Admit students into the meeting and assist with basic classroom management Take attendance at multiple points during each class session Accurately record and submit attendance using the designated attendance sheet Monitor the chat for student questions and ensure the instructor is aware of them Provide general administrative support to help classes run smoothly Maintain a professional and welcoming online classroom environment Assist the instructor with other course-related tasks as needed Schedule Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays Dates: September 22, 2026 – March 25, 2027 Class Time: 5:45 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Expected Hours: Approximately 6.5 hours per week Attendance Requirement: The Teaching Assistant is expected to log into the virtual classroom by 5:45 p.m. to prepare for class and remain until the instructor concludes the session.
