About the role

Provide academic tutoring services to elementary school students in the subjects of reading and mathematics. Assist students in improving their comprehension and problem-solving skills through personalized instruction.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one reading and math support for elementary students (K–5). Read and interpret student assessment results to inform instruction. Apply targeted teaching strategies based on assessment reports and student needs. Adapt instruction to each student's unique learning style and school curriculum. Support homework, classwork, and long-term skill building. Track student progress and communicate consistently with families and our team. About Us:

Every tutor match is personally overseen by our owner — a credentialed educator with 20+ years in Bay Area schools. We take our tutors seriously, because when tutors thrive, students do too.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Experience

4+ years of professional teaching or tutoring experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degrees (Masters/PhD), general teaching credentials, or special education credentials are highly valued.
