Deliver small-group and individualized instruction in core academic areas to support IEP goals. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-wide initiatives that enhance student outcomes. Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum materials and modify instruction for diverse learners. Monitor and document student progress, completing IEP updates, data tracking, and progress reports accurately and on time. Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement. Experience working with grade school students and supporting mild to moderate learning needs is preferred.
