ABOUT US The Alliance For Infants and Toddlers, Inc. was established in 1988 by a federal grant to assist families of low-birth-weight infants.
In 1996, The Alliance was chosen by Allegheny County as the Early Childhood Intervention Service Coordination Agency for families of children, aged from birth to three years, who have developmental concerns.
In April of 2022, The Alliance was elected as the Early Intervention Service Coordination Agency to serve children residing throughout Beaver County.
Early Intervention is a variety of supports and services designed to build and enhance the natural learning that occurs in the early years.
Support and services are provided in the home, childcare site, and other community settings identified by the family.
Any child from birth to three years old living in Allegheny County or Beaver County is eligible for a developmental evaluation through Early Intervention.

JOB DEFINITION This individual will provide service coordination throughout Allegheny County for families with children who are eligible for Early Intervention under PA Act 212.
Work is performed with a considerable degree of initiative and independent judgment in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures.
The position reports directly to the Team Supervisor who provides general guidance around program issues and evaluates the effectiveness of the Service Coordinator’s activities.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree with one year of experience or an Associate degree with three years of experience in a relevant social science field. A reliable motor vehicle, valid driver's license, and successful completion of background clearances are mandatory.
