The Teacher Aide will support children with autism spectrum disorder in group activities and provide 1:1 assistance under the direction of a Special Education Teacher. Responsibilities include implementing Applied Behavior Analysis principles and facilitating child-directed play within a natural learning environment.
Liberty POST is currently seeking motivated and energetic Early Childhood Teacher’s Aides for part-time employment (8-35 hours weekly) to work with children who are birth-3 years old through Early Intervention.

Job
Work with children with autism spectrum disorder ages 18 -39 months in a group setting. Aides support children in group activities as well as work 1:1 under the direction of a Special Education Teacher using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: Early Childhood Experience preferred but not required Great interpersonal and communication skills Team player who can multi-task High School Diploma required. Some college credits in a related field preferred. Willingness to be trained in Applied Behavior Analysis required. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and a willingness to be trained in Applied Behavior Analysis. Previous experience in early childhood education is preferred, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
