The McAuley School of Nursing at the University of Detroit Mercy invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position with a primary focus on teaching and service. This position supports the School’s mission of educating compassionate, ethical, and clinically competent nurses prepared to serve diverse populations. The successful candidate will contribute to both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs through classroom instruction, clinical teaching, and service to the school, university, and profession. The primary clinical focus for this position is medical-surgical nursing.
Participate in department, college, and university service activities-
Contribute to program accreditation, assessment, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Engage in professional service activities consistent with faculty role expectations.
Support student advising, mentoring, and professional development as assigned. Other duties as assigned
Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10 pounds).
Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office.
