About the role

The Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation services under the supervision of a physician. They are responsible for educating coaches and athletes on best practices and providing event coverage and emergency response.

We are currently hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer to work in a diverse and rewarding environment—supporting athletes across school systems and outpatient settings.

As an Athletic Trainer, you’ll work under the supervision of a physician to provide comprehensive injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation services.

You’ll be an essential part of a care team, educating coaches, parents, and athletes on best practices while providing hands-on support in both clinical and on-site athletic settings.

Position Responsibilities: Apply preventative care techniques and supportive devices for sports-related injuries Guide injured athletes through conditioning and reconditioning programs Communicate effectively with physicians, coaches, and families Provide event coverage and emergency response as scheduled Educate school staff and athletes on injury prevention Bachelor’s in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field (Required) Master’s preferred Certified Athletic Trainer (Required) NATABOC Certification BLS Certification (completed during clinical orientation) New grads encouraged to apply Preferred: 1–2 years in a school or outpatient orthopedic/physician practice setting Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field and possess a Certified Athletic Trainer (NATABOC) certification. A BLS certification is also required, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
