About the role

The Physical Therapist will provide services to 11-15 students across two school buildings, developing and implementing therapy plans aligned with educational goals. They will also collaborate with educators and families while maintaining documentation for progress and special education compliance.

Since we are owned and operated by therapists, we understand the unique needs of therapists. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on student mobility, access, and educational participation through school-based physical therapy services. The Physical Therapist will support students across JFK Middle School and Jackson Street Elementary School, working closely with educators, families, and special education partners to help students succeed.

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to 11-15 students across two school buildings. Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with each student's educational goals. Collaborate with educators and families to support student mobility and access. Document progress, service delivery, and compliance with special education requirements. Coordinate A, B, and C grid services across a three-day weekly schedule. No PTA supervision required. Required Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist eligible to practice in Massachusetts. Eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience providing school-based physical therapy services for pediatric student populations. Experience supporting elementary and middle school students. Experience managing caseloads across multiple school buildings and service schedules. Experience documenting IEP goals, progress notes, and special education compliance requirements. Experience collaborating with educators, families, and special education teams. Benefits / Position Details 1099 Employee $80-90 per hour Health insurance stipend available if needed One (1) .40 Part-Time Vacancy 3 days per week (any 3 weekdays) 10 to 15 hours per week Start Date: August 24, 2026 The caseload would be 11-15 kids across 2 buildings Includes A, B, and C Grid services No PTA supervision required

Requirements

Candidates must be a licensed Physical Therapist eligible to practice in Massachusetts and authorized to work in the United States. Experience with school-based pediatric physical therapy and managing IEP documentation is preferred.
